Wrought Iron Cooking/Builder's Stand (TrestleTable Legs)
A robust 19th-century wrought iron stand, originally intended for use beside an open hearth to support fire tools, cooking vessels, or kettles. They were also used in early construction sites as early, portable work stations. The simple, utilitarian form reflects traditional blacksmith craftsmanship, while the dark iron surface shows rich age-related patina. A full set can be used as legs for a trestle table.
